Thanks to Rube Wolf as the dominant force, the JRC originated
back in the 1930's.  At that time, the JRC consisted of all sports
throughout the year.  Rube retired in 1993 and passed away in
1994, but his legacy and stamp on the JRC league lives on.  As the
years have past, the only sport to remain is softball.

The league has made several improvements to ensure everyone's
experience is an enjoyable one.  Most importantly, the website has
offered all patrons of the league a centralized place on the Internet
to obtain important league information that is constantly updated.

The JRC remains one of the largest softball leagues in Cleveland,
with almost 60 teams this year!  We're very proud that we are able
to retain roughly 1,000 players year over year.

Each year, the league asks players both past and present for
donations due to the rising cost of all facilities for the league.  The
JRC has been able to continue to serve Cleveland softball players
for over 60 years thanks to the generosity of these players.  The
league has always been a nonprofit organization and all donations
are tax deductible.

We look forward to your continued support to the league.  If you
would like to make any generous donation:
